A man and the woman had a fight. They were a great couple, but sometimes they fought because their thoughts did not match well. The woman was angry so she went inside the room. She accidentally looked at the man's diary and it was about the time they met and had love.
* * *
Dear diary, July 21st (1987)
A beautiful man and a woman met. What will they do? Yes, they will marry and have a baby. And that baby was me. I feel so unlucky that I am born in a poor family, but people think that I am nice to others, which my mom said was important than money. However, I somehow disagree. I am now 19 years old, and I have a girl I love. But she only likes handsome people and is rich, but I am poor. Also I am really ugly. What should I do? I hope I get a chance to meet her and talk to her. I will keep trying and trying until she accepts my love.
The woman was surprised to see her picture in the diary. She felt weird to think that the man with her was sort of a stoker of her.
Dear diary, July 26th (1987)
My work is useless! She never gives me an eye. But, magically, a fairy helped me, and put a spell on her so she can love me. We had great time together. It was so happy to be with her. Tragically, the magic didn't last long; she suddenly made a growly face and said, " Why are you with me anyways? You just want to be with me because I am rich." I felt so terrible so I yelled to her that I had truly liked her. I was terribly upset, so I talked with my sister, and she told me some great advises how to tell someone: " I like you." I feel much better now.
The woman smiled. She discovered that she had actually totally misunderstood the man when he was young; yes, it was his sister. She kept reading his diary on.
Dear diary, July 27th (1987)
Suddenly the girl held up a picture, looking frustrated. She told me that I had been with a girl, and cried. "Look, how dare! You should never date with another girl if you truly like me." I was embarrassed, but when I looked at the picture I saw my sister and I walking together. She totally misunderstood me! I told her that it was my sister but she didn't believe me. She slammed the door and left so I cried and cried.
After reading his July 27th diary, the woman felt sorry and thought that she was much too bad to him during those days.
Dear diary, July 28th (1987)
When I went to school upset, the girl was waiting for me.I tried to ignore her but she smiled at me and said that she was so sorry about her misunderstanding yesterday. I think we can now be a little closer. What a happy day!
P.S. (written in July 28th, 1995) We are soon going to have a baby. Great!
The woman felt much better and was sorry for the man. She placed the diary preciously inside a drawer and came out of the room to apologize to the man.

Reflective essay (related to a video)
Do you know this video about a 12 year old girl's speech? She made a such impressing speech about the fact: "Children should be more respected and plus, adults have something to learn about children." To understand more about my topic, please look at the video and read my own reflective essay about what I felt and how I was sort of "Discriminated" by adults.
Have you ever been thought to be annoying and childish? Have you ever been told words or feeling that you are annoying and not helpful for others in any ways? I think when you were a children you must hae had this experience. As a child, I agree with this great girl, Adora Svitak. Yes, adults have to respect children, and yes, they have to learn the creativity and knowledge of us children, so today I would like to talk about the times when I was called childish and annoying.
We are not childish! We are the world's future!
I felt discriminations between young and old, and I would like to tell the major two stories. I think everybody knows "E-mart". A lot of people find E-mart cheap and friendly, but as a children I never think like that. Dozens of workers in E-mart discriminate adults and child. When I am with my mom so I can buy things, the workers are really kind and they try to help us until we are totally annoyed of them. When a child goes, the scene turns different; the workers just think I'm invisible and when I ask questions they groan and sort of shout at me. Actually, I wanted to buy a cube but couldn't find it. So I asked a kind looking woman: "Where are the cubes placed in?" The woman made a naughty face and growled: "I don't know, it's not my part of business." Can you BELIEVE IT?!?!????? She worked on the exact floor where the cubes were placed in, and she said it was not part of her business! I feel terribly annoyed and feel horrified. The world is a much to harsh and cold place now for children, which are the world's future. I think the world is being much too terrible to us young children; they need to give us hope and happiness.
Terrible yelling workers!!!! Don't discriminate us!! @.@
The second one is about GLPS camp. I know I would be scolded maybe, but I want to tell the truth about some PAs rooms. (I will not reveal the floor, their names, etc.) We can never eat snacks, have to be clean and we should not have one hair in our room or we will get a yellow card; well, that was what at least I was told about. After reading this, take a look at the PA's room; the trashbin has snack wrappers and the rooms have bad hygiene. They pile things up and even dry their clothes inside the room! I think before they tell us do this, do that, yellowcard, redcard, EOP paper..., I think they should give us some examples of clean, non rule breaking rooms, not the rooms they show us now!
IN CONCLUSION, DON'T DISCRIMINATE CHILDREN WITH ADULTS! WE ARE THE SAME HUMAN BEINGS WITH RIGHTS TO BE RESPECTED!

KONY 2012; is it true?
How many of you know Joseph Kony? Actually, how many of you know about Uganda and its problem? Joseph Kony is to be listed as the most dangerous person who has to be captured. If you do not know about Joseph Kony, watch the video “KONY 2012”. After you understand the video, please read my post and help yourself understand about what I am based on.
This is the sign and poster about the famous event spread worldwide by social network. The video, Kony 2012, is trying to convince us to help capture Kony and is making us think that Kony is a bad person by using our emotions. However, is this video convincing? I believe that this project, Kony 2012, is much too exaggerated and that we need more proof to choose whether or not we should help Kony. This will be exactly what I will be talking about, and there will be 2 reasons why I believe this project isn’t that important.
Do you know what this video want to request you to do? It is requiring MONEY. It says that some dollars can help stop Kony and save the children. I admit that Kony is a bad person. But, will that man, Jason, use all his money on the Kony 2012 project? I do not think so. A lot of companies' leaders use money for their own goods and even presidents do. We are same human beings, and we can’t ever deny that there is hidden greed about money and power. It will be the same as Jason. He would want the money which the teens paid to save the invisible children. We never know how and where he uses his money which we donated, so I think it is a thing that we should suspect about.
They are money bags. Don’t you feel greedy?
Actually, what is the biggest problem of Africa? It’s food shortage, pirates, etc. We have much more things to care about than Joseph Kony’s army. First, we have to help the people who are dying of diseases and food shortage. It is true that Kony makes Uganda suffer and he is a bad person who kills other people in a cruel way. Well, the population which dies because of diseases and food shortage would be larger than the people who die because of Joseph Kony. So, we should fix the problem which is the majority first and then work on Joseph Kony’s military and power.
They are so hungry because of food shortage. We should help them first!
(Actually, some African people eat dirt mixed with rice to fill their stomach up.)
In conclusion, I think this program’s money and work should be used in another place. If you visit:
“http://www.globalissues.org/issue/83/conflicts-in-africa”, you will find that there are no problems about Kony listed and other much more serious problems. So, before you donate and help the project Kony 2012, think again! You do not know whether or not the project is true or where they use the money. So I think we should be careful when we decide what to do with this project Kony 2012.

What would my future be like?
Does anybody not care about his or her future? I think everybody wants a great future with good place to live and good work to have. Well, since a lot of people want life in the future, I would like to talk about my future dream life, and I think you will think it is common because I want a common life as anyone does too.
First, when I am in the age of 15, I want to be a second grader of Chung-shim middle school, which I decide it will be a great place to study because we always use English and it is found to be the most famous middle school in Korea. But I find going to Chung-shim middle school is really hard, so if not I will study in Sungbok middle school, which doesn't really have good quality but has some background, or my neighbor middle school. That middle school teaches kids in a strict way under great control. It's told to be that the highest score in math was found out to be "46". I think if I get 100 on that test, I would be writing a historical record in that middle school but I think I will find it stressing. However, for great future and good middle school I should concentrate on my studies and try to improve on my English skills, which may make the camp useful and help me improve on English so I can go to good middle school.
Next, after going to good middle school and high school, in the age of 20, I want to go to the SKY universities(Seoul, Yun-sae, Koryeo), or I want to go to the IVY league. I will be new in the university and on that case I would have to have more time to learn more about the university as I study and I would like to study about law and politics because I would love to be a lawyer or a judge. I hear that a lot of students fail on their studies during university because they think "Oh, this is a great university. I am so smart so there is no need to study." Well, this is wrong. Thinking that you are so smart can actually make you really dumb. So I will be careful in my studies and I will be prepared with my strength and energy and try to exercise every day. Actually, in universities you have a little amount of sleep but have super hard work. You get tired easily so I MUST exercise. That would be a happy life in the age of 20.

Then, I would have to find a job. Since I am 25, it may be about 1~2 years after I passed out from university. I want to first have a test about laws. It is definintly hard to pass and so I would have to work every day and night even though I am so sleepy. I don't know about my life yet, but I would like to be a judge first and then become a lawyer. As a judge I would have to really logical and do not think about one's side and treat everyone in a fair way. I would need great logic, strong, correct decisions, and also would have to have great note taking skills. As I take some notes, I would like to look at how other lawyers work and state things in a logical way, because I will be a lawyer one day. (Actually, to be sure the reason why I am being a judge before I become a lawyer is because as a judge I can listen to other lawyers and also, you have to take a test again if you want to be a judge after you become a lawyer.)
Okay, that was my common future life, but I really have strong thoughts that my future dream is a fabulous dream which I want to really succeed in. And I also believe that this camp, the GLPS (global leadership program for students), will give me much more advice and help so I can be a global "law" leader!
